Commercial & Finance Manager
Hortus is a major player in the viticulture labour supply and vineyard management industry in Marlborough. Established 11 years ago we have grown to a team of 70 permanent employees and up to 450 seasonal staff. We pride ourselves on having a great culture and are committed to making a long-term difference in our local community and in the Pacific Island nations.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Commercial & Finance Manager is a new position and will play a key role in transitioning Hortus into our next phase. We wish to appoint a CA qualified and experienced manager who can grow with the business, but also offer the support and guidance today to ensure the business continues to focus on its people, culture, service offering and profitability.
The Commercial & Finance Manager will; provide advice and direction to the business, divisions and team members, guide and coach a finance team and deliver on specific projects. This opportunity will appeal to a senior leader who has proven experience in adding commercial value in addition to the experience leading and managing the accounting, payroll, budgeting, cashflow, IT, legal, risk, insurance, auditing, and compliance functions of a business.
