Hortus is a major player in the viticulture labour supply and vineyard management industry in Marlborough. Family owned and established 10 years ago we have built a reputation on providing reliable viticulture solutions to our clients.
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, this newly created role is responsible for assisting and overseeing a team of three and managing the day-to-day accounting functions such as accounts payable & receivables, job costings, reconciliations, payroll, end of month reporting and projects.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified/part-qualified accountant to grow your skills in a dynamic and future-focused business. If you enjoy showing initiative and have the people and communication skills to lead a team and provide technical financial information to our divisional managers, then this could be your next challenge.
We are looking for someone that has excellent attention to detail and is IT and systems savvy. Advanced Excel and Xero skills is important. You will bring a personal style that is “down to earth”, driven to succeed, collaborative and open to change.
